This workshop introduces Yoga Play appropriate for children ages 3 to 6. You will become versed in play-based yoga and mindfulness practices to promote healthy development during this important life stage and beyond. Help children build self-regulation, social-emotional competencies, and physical literacy in a fun and engaging way. Discover how yoga can be used to promote cognitive development as well as early literacy and numeracy skills. Learn yoga-inspired songs, stories, and activities beloved by young children.
You’ll leave with lots of resources to get you started immediately! No previous experience with yoga is necessary. This workshop is offered in half-day, daylong, and weekend long formats.
