Teens may look like adults, but their yoga-needs are very different! This weekend-long workshop will introduce you to the ins-and-outs of yoga for teens.
Adolescence is a time of rapid physical, cognitive, social, and emotional change. In this workshop, learn how yoga and mindfulness practices can support healthy development for teens. Learn which poses are especially beneficial, and which ones to avoid. Discover mindfulness practices to help adolescents thrive during this often stressful time of life. I will also provide suggestions for integrating yoga and mindfulness practices into high schools.
People attending this week-end long workshop should have some experience with yoga and be familiar with foundational yoga poses, such as Sun Salutations and Warrior Poses. Teens are encouraged to take part! Leave with a ton of useful resources so that you can get started right away.
